Kate Walsh discusses returning to Grey's Anatomy

Actress Kate Walsh has discussed her recent return to the medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as Dr. Addison Montgomery. Walsh, who reprised her role in a season 22 episode, described the experience of returning to the series as feeling ‘like going home.’

Walsh attributed her motivation for returning to the show to creator Shonda Rhimes and the production company Shondaland. She also praised current showrunner Meg Marinis, noting that Marinis’s long-standing history with Rhimes ensures a deep understanding of both the character and the series. Walsh described the process of stepping back into the role as being like a ‘little fish in the stream.’
