Greek actress Katerina Geronikou has addressed the criticism she received following comments made by Giannis Tsimitseis regarding her cooking habits. During a discussion about their daily routine, Tsimitseis mentioned that the couple often relies on a meal delivery service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, noting that Geronikou does not cook systematically.

Speaking in an interview with Nancy Paradeisanou on YouTube, Geronikou expressed her disbelief at the intensity of the subsequent social media backlash. While she initially reacted with humor, she later questioned the modern tendency to judge individuals based on domestic stereotypes. She emphasized the difficulties of balancing demanding professional lives as freelancers with family obligations, noting that many people struggle to find time for basic daily tasks.

She argued that such scrutiny is outdated, asking, “In what decade are we living?” and suggesting that people should be more understanding of the pressures of modern life rather than criticizing others for how they manage their households.
