In an Instagram post, Kainourgiou shared an illustration of two women walking hand-in-hand, accompanied by the message, “You & me… Together… forever” and “Wish you were here…”. The presenter has previously described their bond as a deep personal relationship built on shared experiences.

During a broadcast of ‘Super Katerina’, Kainourgiou also reflected on the importance of support during difficult times. She drew a comparison to Demetris Nikolaidis, noting he was a “rock” by Nikolaidou’s side until the end, emphasizing that having a partner present during such hardships should be a given, though it is not always the case for everyone.
