Katerina Petrakis honors late husband Dimitris Kokotas

Katerina Petrakis, the widow of popular singer Dimitris Kokotas, has shared emotional reflections forty days after his passing. Speaking on the program ‘Super Katerina’, she described the profound void left by his absence after nearly 25 years of partnership.

Petrakis detailed her experience during the two and a half years spent by his side during his hospitalization. She recalled the daily hope she carried, noting that even small responses from him provided moments of joy. She described his final struggles, stating that he remained responsive to her voice and his daughter's presence, often attempting to move or reacting with emotion, even if he could not shed tears.

Regarding their daughter, Petrakis noted that the child feels grateful for the time spent with her father and remains proud of his memory.
