Katerina Zarifi condemns Boeotia wildfires and announces departure from My Radio 104.6

Greek broadcaster Katerina Zarifi used her Instagram account to denounce the devastating wildfires that broke out in Boeotia on 31 July. She described the flames engulfing pine forests, homes and agricultural land across Xironomi, Aliki, Agios Nikolaos and Agios Vasileios, urging residents to evacuate as strong winds hampered firefighting efforts.

In a separate TikTok video, Zarifi announced that her long‑standing collaboration with My Radio 104.6 is ending. The station is shifting to an informational format, marking the close of a decade‑long partnership that included her show “Zarifi’s Panigyri” and work with co‑host Haris Chronopoulos. She thanked listeners and hinted at possible new projects for the next season.
