Katerini hosts series of five major running events

The city of Katerini is hosting a series of five major mass participation running events spanning from late summer through November. These organized athletic activities aim to combine sports with social contribution, historical memory, and local culture.

The schedule includes the 10th Anniversary Solidarity Road Race of the Agios Charalambos Parish on August 31, a 5,000-meter race supporting the Benjamin Children's Protection Association. Additionally, the 15th anniversary of the Katerini Run half-marathon is scheduled for September 13, organized by the Zeus Pieria Runners Club in cooperation with the Municipality of Katerini. Other planned events include a route in Rhytina and a new running challenge on Mount Olympus.
