Actress and director Katie Holmes is focusing on independent cinema and directing. At the Tribeca Film Festival, she presented her new film, ‘Happy Hours’, which she also wrote. The romantic drama features Joshua Jackson in the lead role. Holmes, who co-founded the production company Lafayette Pictures in 2021, has expressed a preference for independent projects over major blockbusters.

In her personal life, Holmes has recently been seen publicly with boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky. The couple attended the Michael Kors 45th anniversary dinner in East Hampton, appearing alongside other celebrities such as Naomi Watts and Christie Brinkley.
