Former glamour model Katie Price, 48, opened up about her mother Amy Price's battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a terminal lung condition diagnosed in 2017. Amy, who recently endured a lengthy hospital stay, lives on the Isle of Wight while Katie resides in a four‑bedroom mansion in Sussex.

On her podcast "The Katie Price Show", Katie explained that the family is taking turns caring for Amy and that the situation may force her to purchase a small property on the Isle of Wight to provide closer support. She said, "that's what families do," and added that her sister Sophie, who co‑hosts the show, would also help. Katie described the circumstances as "hard" and discussed the need for additional space to accommodate her mother's care.
