Katie Taylor concludes boxing career and launches Fizzique soda

Professional boxer Katie Taylor has concluded her career following a unanimous decision victory over Flora Pili at Croke Park. The event, attended by an estimated 83,000 people, saw Taylor retain her WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring super lightweight titles, while also claiming the IBO and vacant WBC super lightweight titles. This victory marks the second time boxing has been hosted at the venue since 1972.

Following the bout, Taylor departed Dublin Airport for her home in Connecticut, USA. To celebrate her historic achievements, Taylor has launched a wellness-focused soda brand, Fizzique, co-created with SiSú. The beverage, which is low in sugar and infused with magnesium and vitamin D, is now being rolled out in Centra stores across Ireland.
