Katie Wiles photographed with Republika Srpska minister

A photograph has surfaced showing Katie Wiles, daughter of White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, holding a rifle while standing next to Zeljko Budimir, the interior minister of the Republika Srpska entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The image, which appears to be a screenshot from Wiles’ personal Instagram account, was shared online by activist Evi Kokalari.

Katie Wiles is a partner at Continental Strategy, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying firm. While the firm registered to lobby on behalf of Republika Srpska in early 2026, a spokesperson stated that Wiles’ visit to the region in mid-August was for a different client. The firm clarified that she was accompanying a U.S. company conducting a feasibility study and that she has not discussed Republika Srpska with any U.S. government officials.
