Katie Zacharia shares personal story behind pro-life stance

Newly appointed White House spokesperson Katie Zacharia has shared the personal story that drives her pro-life convictions. Zacharia, a lawyer and mother of four, described her birth as a ‘miracle’ resulting from a pivotal decision made by her biological mother.

During an interview, Zacharia explained that her biological mother, Ruth, was approximately 20 to 30 minutes away from undergoing a scheduled abortion when a phone call from a Christian counselor prompted her to reconsider. The counselor suggested exploring open adoption instead, allowing the child a chance at life. Despite family opposition, Ruth chose to continue the pregnancy, and Zacharia was subsequently placed for adoption.

Zacharia’s professional background includes serving as the president of the Christian Legal Society chapter at Pepperdine University and acting as a legal advisor for Fix California. She has also been involved with the White Rose Resistance and frequently appears as a commentator on various news networks.
