Katihar: Thieves steal jewelry and cash from locked house

Thieves broke into a locked residence in the Gaushala area of Katihar, Bihar, stealing jewelry, cash, and other valuables worth millions of rupees. The incident occurred late Friday night during heavy rainfall, which provided cover for the perpetrators.

The homeowner, Mundrika Singh, had been away in Bengaluru for approximately one month seeking medical treatment. The theft was discovered the following morning when neighbors noticed the broken main lock.

Local police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects. A police team has been formed to track the thieves and resolve the case.
