RTL presenter Katja Burkard and media manager Hans Mahr are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The couple, who had been in a relationship for 28 years prior to their marriage, officially wed on August 30, 2025.

Burkard shared her reflections on the milestone via Instagram, noting that their children served as witnesses during the ceremony. The wedding took place at the Himmelreichkapelle at Pogusch in Austria, a location the couple describes as a special place for their family.

While the couple has been together since 1998, they previously experienced a period of separation before officially marrying last year.
