Katja Burkard cancels debut comedy tour

RTL moderator Katja Burkard has officially cancelled her debut comedy tour, titled ‘No more bullshit – Warum Älterwerden auch lustig ist’. The decision was announced via her Instagram story.

Burkard explained that she decided to ‘pull the plug’ because she no longer felt right about performing the program. She noted that since postponing the tour, she has felt ‘the worm inside’ and decided to follow her gut feeling rather than going on stage.

The tour, which was intended to offer a humorous look at life after 60, including topics like menopause and aging, had previously been rescheduled to 2027 following the death of her 92-year-old mother in March. Planned stops included Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Mönchengladbach. Burkard expressed gratitude to the authors and crew who invested significant effort into the project and assured ticket holders that refunds would be processed.
