Katja Mia launches true‑crime podcast 'Unsolved' while husband plans Italy wedding
Irish radio presenter Katja Mia announced the launch of a new true‑crime podcast, Unsolved, on 29 July 2026. The series, co‑hosted with crime journalist Barry Cummins, will explore unsolved crimes in Ireland, with particular focus on cases involving women.
Mia praised her husband, Daragh Curran, for handling about 90 percent of the planning for their upcoming wedding on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, scheduled for September. She said his organisational skills, especially his love of Excel spreadsheets, are “saving her life.” The couple already held a civil ceremony in Dublin in May 2026.
The launch comes as Mia, who turned 30, recently moved from Virgin Media’s The Six O’Clock Show to RTÉ 2FM, continuing to host a drivetime show with Laura Fox while taking on the additional podcast project.
