Oktoberfest Munich 2026 scheduled for September
The Munich Oktoberfest is scheduled to return to the Theresienwiese starting September 19, 2026. The festival, which originated in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen, will mark its 190th iteration.
The event will span 16 days, concluding on October 4, 2026. The festival grounds, known locally as the ‘Wiesn’, will cover 31 hectares. Approximately 12,000 people are employed for the event, which includes 640 approved businesses, such as 79 gastronomic establishments and 214 showmen.
Beer prices for 2026 are projected to range between 14.80 and 15.90 Euros.
