Katlyn Cerminara returns to UFC with first stoppage victory

UFC flyweight Katlyn Cerminara secured her first professional finish in the Octagon with a first-round stoppage of Mackenzie Stiller at UFC Edmonton. The 37-year-old veteran, a former title challenger, achieved the victory via a head kick during the preliminary card.

Cerminara attributed her performance to a renewed sense of focus following a two-year hiatus during which she became a mother. She described a more disciplined training approach, noting that she now maintains a strict boundary between her professional training sessions and her family life to ensure her time is used effectively.

Following the win, Cerminara expressed a desire to remain active and take upcoming fight assignments as soon as possible, citing significant improvement and learning during her recent training camp.
