Katni CSP Neha Pachisia suspended over land scam allegations

Katni City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Neha Pachisia has been suspended following allegations of corruption and misuse of her official position. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered the suspension after an FIR was registered against Pachisia and two others, including Maroof Ahmed and Kshitij Raj, at the Kuthla police station.

The investigation involves a disputed land deal linked to a murder accused. It is alleged that land valued at approximately Rs 80 lakh was sold for only Rs 18 lakh through an agent to provide an undue benefit. Additionally, allegations of extortion were raised, with claims that the CSP sought Rs 15 lakh from the accused party.

Following the FIR, Pachisia’s office was sealed, and five police personnel, including her reader, driver, and gunman, were suspended. Pachisia has been attached to the DIG office in Jabalpur while a fair investigation is conducted. Before her police career, Pachisia worked as an air hostess for Air India.
