Kato Mazarakia Kindergarten joins European eTwinning project

The Kato Mazarakia Kindergarten in Greece has joined the European eTwinning educational project titled ‘Ruraland, Connecting Rural Schools, Cultivating Tomorrow’. Led by head teacher Golfo Kanellaki, the initiative aims to connect children with rural life while fostering environmental awareness, creativity, and cooperation.

Through this program, the kindergarten will collaborate with schools in Spain, Italy, and Romania. The curriculum focuses on experiential learning, using digital tools, games, and nature-based activities to help students explore local traditions, professions, and culture.

The project is supported by the Municipality of West Achaia, local community leaders, and the school's Parents and Guardians Association. By participating in this European network, the school seeks to strengthen its ties with the local community and enhance students' social and digital skills.
