Katowice boy saves mother after calling emergency services

A nine-year-old boy in Katowice, Poland, saved his mother's life after noticing she was acting strangely and failing to respond to questions. Despite being frightened, the child remained calm and called the emergency number 112, providing the correct address and describing his mother's condition.

Police officers arrived first at the residence and found the boy at the door. While one officer attended to the woman, whose condition was suspected to be related to diabetes, another cared for the child. Medical rescuers arrived shortly after to take over the woman's care. The mother has since recovered and expressed her gratitude to the local police command.
