Katowice to host ESL Pro League playoffs at Spodek

Katowice will host the playoffs for the 24th season of the ESL Pro League starting October 3 at the Spodek arena. This marks a return to a live audience format for the league after several seasons held in studios in Malta and Stockholm.

Michał Blicharz of ESL Faceit Group noted that while the event is shifting from the Intel Extreme Masters brand to the ESL Pro League, Katowice remains a premier location for esports. He highlighted that the modern esports fanbase has become more international and affluent, contributing to high ticket demand even without free entry options.
