Katowice to host Telewizja Polska New Year's Eve concert
Telewizja Polska has announced that the 'Sylwester z Dwójką' New Year's Eve celebration will return to Katowice on December 31. The event will be held at Sławika i Antalla Square, with the Spodek arena serving as a backdrop.
Organizers have confirmed that the artist lineup is finalized, featuring approximately 30 Polish performers and one international star. While specific names have not yet been disclosed, the decision to return to Katowice follows the success of previous years, where last year's broadcast reached nearly 2.9 million viewers on TVP2 and TVP Polonia.
The location was chosen over Tychy, as officials determined that Tychy lacked the necessary infrastructure and technical facilities required to host an event of this scale safely and effectively.
