Katrakeio Theatre to host charity concert for Mobile Unit of Special Therapies

A solidarity concert will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at the Katrakeio Theatre of Nikaia to fund the creation and operation of a Mobile Unit of Special Therapies. All proceeds from the event will support the unit, which aims to provide assessment, early intervention, and therapeutic support to children and families in remote or inaccessible areas of Greece.

The event marks the official launch of the Panhellenic Initiative ‘CHORIS APOSTASEIS’ (Without Distances) by SKEPI GIAT OLOUS A.M.K.E. This initiative seeks to reduce inequalities in access to prevention, timely evaluation, and therapeutic services through collaborations with municipalities and scientific bodies.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Katrakeio Theatre and supported by the Municipality of Nikaia - Ag. I. Rentis, the concert features a wide array of artists, including Rita Antonopoulou, Foteini Velesiotou, Veronika Davaki, and others. The event will be fully accessible, featuring Greek Sign Language interpretation by Sofia Rompoli.
