Katrice Simmons found alive after two-month disappearance in Georgia

Katrice Simmons, a 59-year-old woman from Florida, has been found alive after being missing for approximately two months.

Simmons had relocated from Pensacola to Atlanta in April to live with a man she met online. Her family reported her missing after she stopped communicating on May 19, noting that she sounded in distress during their final conversation. During her disappearance, her phone, belongings, and her black Chevrolet Equinox—which was noted to have a missing rear window—were also missing.

Following an active search by her family and the Atlanta Police Department, the DeKalb County Police Department confirmed she was located on August 24.
