KATSEYE debuts on Saturday Night Live

KATSEYE Saturday Night Live Dream Academy pop music EP Wild

The Los Angeles-based girl group KATSEYE made their debut on Saturday Night Live, performing two songs, ‘Animal’ and ‘Hootie Frutti,’ from their latest EP, Wild.

Due to members Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza being on hiatus for mental health reasons, four of the group's six members performed. The group was formed two years ago through the reality series Dream Academy, a joint venture between HYBE and Geffen Records of Universal Music Group.

KATSEYE has seen rapid commercial success, including a number one debut on the Billboard 200 with their EP Wild and nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Their recent rise follows previous appearances at Coachella and the American Music Awards.
