KATSEYE girl group faces management scrutiny and member hiatus

KATSEYE, a global girl group formed through a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is facing scrutiny regarding its management and member activities. The group features members from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Sophia Laforteza, Yoonchae Jeung, and Megan Skiendiel.

Recent discussions have centered on member Manon Bannerman, who went on a hiatus for health and wellbeing reasons. Controversy arose when reports surfaced of a message from Bannerman on Weverse that appeared to contradict the official statement from HYBE x Geffen regarding her health status.

Member Daniela Avanzini, the group’s main dancer, has a background in professional ballroom dance and early television appearances on programs such as America’s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance.
