KATSEYE members deny rumors regarding Manon and Sophia's status

During the European leg of THE WILDWORLD TOUR, members of the group KATSEYE—Lara, Daniela, Megan, and Yoonchae—addressed ongoing rumors regarding the status of members Manon and Sophia in an interview with the Swedish program Lilla Aktuellt.

Lara denied circulating rumors suggesting that Manon and Sophia would not return to the group, stating, “None of those rumors are true.” She noted that people often attempt to create negative narratives, but the group chooses not to engage with such speculation. While the members expressed support for their absent colleagues, they noted it is not their place to provide specific details regarding their return.

Manon has been on hiatus since February 2026 for personal health and well-being, according to HYBE x Geffen. Sophia stepped back from the tour in August 2026 to prioritize her mental health. The members' comments have resulted in divided fan reactions, with some finding reassurance in the denial of rumors and others feeling the response was evasive regarding a specific return timeline.
