Katsina political leaders and Assembly endorse Governor Radda for 2027

Political stakeholders and lawmakers in Katsina State have expressed formal support for Governor Dikko Umaru Radda to seek re-election in 2027.

The Forum of Chairmen and Caucus Secretaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) passed a vote of confidence in the Governor, citing progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agriculture. The forum noted that the administration’s focus on transparency and accountability has restored public confidence and strengthened party structures across all 34 Local Government Areas.

Simultaneously, the Katsina State House of Assembly endorsed Radda’s re-election during the presentation of an N828.64 billion appropriation bill. Speaker Nasir Yahaya Daura commended the executive for its cordial relationship with the legislature and its developmental impact on the state. The Assembly pledged to expedite the passage of the budget to ensure the continued implementation of government projects.
