Katsushika garage house completed on irregular small lot

A new three-story wooden garage house has been completed in Katsushika, Tokyo, designed to maximize a small, irregular 46.68 square meter trapezoidal lot. The residence utilizes Chichibu regional timber and meets ZEH Oriented and BELS 5-star environmental standards.

The design features a garage, a rooftop area accessible via a spiral staircase, and a courtyard with an Ipé wood deck. Interior highlights include a second-floor living area with custom cabinetry, a kitchen equipped with LIXIL and Miele appliances, and functional third-floor children's rooms designed for space efficiency.
