Katsuya to launch limited-time fried rice and teriyaki egg rice meal

The tonkatsu specialty chain Katsuya has announced the launch of a limited-time menu item titled ‘Fried Rice and Teri-Tama Mixed Rice Greedy Meal,’ scheduled to begin sales on September 11, 2026.

The dish features a combination of two types of rice: specially seasoned fried rice and ‘teri-tama’ mixed rice, which consists of white rice topped with a soft-boiled egg, shredded seaweed, and a special teriyaki sauce. The meal is further topped with various proteins, including pork loin cutlet (rosu-katsu), fried chicken (karaage), and red sausages.

Customers can dine in-store or purchase the meal as a takeout bento. Prices for dine-in options are approximately 979 to 980 yen, while takeout bento prices range from 961 to 980 yen, depending on the store type. The product will be available at Katsuya locations nationwide in Japan until ingredients run out.
