Kattia Durán resigns as Social Development Seremi in Metropolitan Region

Kattia Durán has resigned from her position as the Regional Ministerial Secretary (Seremi) of Social Development and Family for the Metropolitan Region of Chile. Her resignation is set to take effect on October 1, 2026.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family stated that the decision was made “exclusively for family reasons that require her complete attention and dedication.” The ministry expressed gratitude for her commitment and service to the families of the region.

To ensure continuity of regional programs and support, Julia Standen Rocco, the current coordinator of the Studies and Investments Area, will serve as the acting secretary while a new permanent authority is appointed.
