Singer Katy Perry has opened up about her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, describing him as the ‘love of my life.’ In an interview with People magazine, Perry reflected on the emotional challenges of 2025, specifically her breakup with actor Orlando Bloom after nearly a decade together.

Perry noted that the split occurred while she was on the Australian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, describing it as ‘probably the hardest time’ because she felt isolated from her support system. However, she credited the tour with helping her rediscover her purpose and leading to her meeting Trudeau in Montreal in July 2025.

Perry expressed that the relationship feels ‘super healing,’ noting that Trudeau is supportive of her music and attends her concerts. She also discussed her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with whom she shares parenthood with Bloom, stating that her daughter is seeing her mother remain strong through these transitions.
