Kauã Elias targets Champions League success and Brazil national team call-up

Brazilian striker Kauã Elias, playing for Shakhtar Donetsk, has expressed his ambitions for the upcoming Champions League season. The 20-year-old former Fluminense player has started the season strongly, scoring three goals in three matches.

Elias stated that he aims to become the top scorer of the Champions League and views the tournament as a vital platform to catch the attention of major coaches and the Brazilian national team. He noted that competing in the tournament provides visibility to players from clubs like Shakhtar, suggesting that staff such as Carlo Ancelotti would observe the competition closely.

Despite the challenges of adapting to European football and living in Ukraine during the ongoing conflict, Elias remains focused on his professional growth.
