Kaufland expands retail services and delivery reach in Poland

Kaufland is expanding its retail services in Poland through technological improvements and delivery growth. The retailer is developing its K-Scan system, a solution currently available in all its Polish markets, which is designed to complement self-checkout counters and is particularly popular among customers making large or bulky purchases.

Additionally, Kaufland has expanded its delivery partnership with Glovo. In July, the number of markets offering Glovo deliveries increased by 36 percent, growing from 25 to 34 locations across 10 cities. This expansion included new service launches in Białystok, Olsztyn, Lublin, Piaseczno, Gdańsk, and Piekary Śląskie. Since July 1, customers using Glovo can also access Kaufland Card XTRA benefits. Data shows that orders via the platform include not only groceries but also electronics, toys, and seasonal products, with the largest single order exceeding 2,200 PLN.
