Kaufland launches €179 mobile air conditioner and highlights its private‑label brand range
Starting 16 July 2026, German discount retailer Kaufland will offer the Tronic mobile air‑conditioner with a 9,000 BTU output for €179 in selected stores. The unit cools rooms of 42–60 m³, includes a fan and dehumidifier mode, a 24‑hour timer, and comes with window‑seal accessories. It consumes up to 1,010 W, operates at 65 dB, and carries a three‑year warranty. Availability varies by outlet; a comparable model is listed by Lidl online for €199.
Kaufland also promotes its extensive line of private‑label products. Brands such as K‑Classic (food staples), K‑Bio (organic items), K‑Purland (meat), K‑Take‑It‑Veggie, and specialty lines like K‑Free (lactose‑free, gluten‑free) and K‑Favourites are marketed as lower‑priced alternatives to national brands. Many items are produced by the same manufacturers that supply the original brands, allowing Kaufland to offer comparable quality at reduced cost.
