Kaunas Book Fair features regional library cultural exhibits

The second Kaunas Book Fair, held at the Žalgiris Arena, featured diverse cultural presentations from regional libraries.

The Panevėžys Library presented the city's identity through interactive activities, including quizzes on the Aukštaitija dialect, puzzles, and literary landmarks. The exhibit specifically honored the 85th anniversary of poet and journalist Elena Mezginaitė, aiming to engage visitors with the city's living culture and history.

Simultaneously, the Grigorijus Kanovičius Public Library from the Jonava district presented a theme titled ‘From Memory to a Living Community.’ Their exhibit focused on the literary legacy of Grigorijus Kanovičius and promoted the library as a space for discovery and connection. The display included the library's mascot, Bildukas, and highlighted the tenth anniversary of the Grigorijus Kanovičius literary prize.
