Kaunas College reports surge in applications and adds extra admissions for fall 2026

Kaunas College announced an additional admission round for its Alytus faculty, giving new and returning students a chance to start studies this autumn. The extra intake targets programmes in business, technology, informatics, engineering, health sciences, education and social sciences.

The college received 21,700 applications for the national admission round, with 12,700 applicants invited to state‑funded places. After the main admission phase, 1,984 candidates received invitations to study at Kaunas College, a 6 % increase over the previous year. Deputy director for studies Jolanta Bareikienė highlighted growing interest in health sciences, informatics, engineering, business and social work programmes, noting that the college continues to play a key role in training highly qualified specialists for the labour market.
