Kaunas College students pursue social work studies in Alytus

Students at the Alytus Faculty of Kaunas College are currently enrolled in a social work study program, which has been running for three years. There are presently 55 students studying the discipline at the Alytus location.

In observance of Lithuanian Social Workers Day on September 27, students have shared insights into their choice of profession. They emphasize that social work requires specific personal qualities such as patience, responsibility, and empathy. Students noted that the profession is driven by a desire to be present for others and to provide support and understanding to those in need.
