Kaunas Culture Fair launches new season with 30+ organizations

The Kaunas Culture Fair is set to launch the new cultural season on September 4–5 at Independence Square. Now in its sixth year, the event will feature more than 30 cultural organizations, creators, and initiatives.

The program includes concerts, circus performances, and discussions regarding contemporary art, cultural etiquette, and Generation Z. For the first time, the fair will expand beyond the main square to include city excursions. Participating entities include theaters, museums, and libraries from Kaunas, Vilnius, Klaipėda, and Pasvalys.

Key highlights include an opening concert by the Kaunas State Philharmonic featuring French classical and contemporary music, as well as a performance by the rock group Opera. Aerial acrobats are also scheduled to perform during the two-day event.
