Kavadarci to host Tikveški Grozdober festival in September

The annual ‘Tikveški Grozdober’ festival is scheduled to take place in Kavadarci from September 4 to 6. The event, a traditional economic, tourist, and cultural manifestation, features a diverse program including a grape harvest feast, a wine tasting, a moto rally, a large carnival, and musical performances by artists such as ‘Nokaut’ and Željko Samarđić.

Stojče Ramov, President of the Council of the Municipality of Kavadarci, noted that the tradition dates back to 1964. The total cost of the event is estimated between 11 and 12 million denars, with 6 million denars provided by the municipal budget and the remainder sourced from socially responsible companies within the municipality. To welcome visitors, the municipality plans to gift packages of grapes to travelers entering through the three municipal gates.
