Kavala wax museum features global and Greek icons

The Thodoris Kokkinidis Wax Museum, located in the village of Kipia near Kavala, has become a notable cultural destination. The collection features a diverse array of global and local figures, including recent addition Cristiano Ronaldo, who has drawn significant attention from young visitors.

The museum's exhibits span various fields, placing international stars like Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Angelina Jolie alongside Greek icons such as Maria Callas, Melina Mercouri, Odysseas Elytis, and Constantine Cavafy. Founded by Thodoris Kokkinidis, the museum represents a long-term effort to transform a small village at the foothills of Mount Pangeion into a cultural landmark.
