Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander to hold wedding reception in Chennai

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran are reportedly planning a wedding reception in Chennai on November 21, 2026. The event has garnered significant attention due to its high-profile guest list, which allegedly includes prominent Indian political figures such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sonia Gandhi, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and various state chief ministers including C. Joseph Vijay, Revanth Reddy, and MK Stalin.

Kalanithi Maran, chairman of the Sun Group and father of Kavya Maran, has reportedly met with several leaders to personally extend invitations. This includes a meeting with Prime Minister Modi and a meeting with Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi, where Priyanka Gandhi was also present. The Telangana Chief Minister’s Office has confirmed that Revanth Reddy received an invitation to the Chennai event.

While the Chennai reception is confirmed through these invitations, reports suggest the wedding ceremony itself may take place in Greece around November 10 or 11, though these specific details remain unconfirmed by the couple or their families.
