Kawagoe City announces nighttime road closures for paving work

Nighttime road paving work is scheduled for the slope in front of Jonan Junior High School in Kawagoe City. Starting August 20, 2026, the road will be subject to full closures between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The project includes final line marking and is expected to conclude by August 28, 2026.

Separately, paving repair work is planned for National Route 417 on the Gifu Prefecture side of Kanmayama Pass. This work, ordered by the Ibi Civil Engineering Office, will involve nighttime closures from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM between September 1 and September 3, 2026, with potential reserve dates scheduled through mid-September.
