Kawasaki announces 2027 Ninja ZX-10R race-only model

Kawasaki has announced the 2027 Ninja ZX-10R race-only model, a flagship supersport motorcycle designed exclusively for circuit use. The new model features a color and graphics update, moving to a ‘Metallic Flat Spark Black x Metallic Spark Black’ scheme.

Technically, the 2027 model transitions from the U.S. California specification to the standard U.S. specification used in previous iterations. While the core mechanical components—including the 998cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine—remain consistent with recent versions, the bike features integrated winglets for improved aerodynamics and downforce, along with optimized chassis geometry and suspension settings for enhanced stability and cornering.

As a race-only vehicle, the motorcycle is not equipped with ABS and is not permitted for use on public roads. Kawasaki will accept orders from October 26, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with deliveries expected to begin in early March 2027. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is set at 2,090,000 yen.
