Kawasaki is expanding its range of dual-purpose motorcycles with several new models slated for 2027. The KLR650 range will include the new KLR650 DF ABS, a rugged, utilitarian model featuring a 652cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine producing 40 HP and 53 Nm of torque. This model includes a 23-liter fuel tank designed for long-distance travel and a high-strength steel frame.

In Japan, Kawasaki Motors Japan has announced preparations to introduce the KLX300 series to the domestic market around autumn 2027. This series includes the KLX300, the KLX300SM supermoto model, and the KLX300DF touring specification. The KLX300 models utilize a 292cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which is an evolution of the previous KLX250, and feature improved output and smartphone connectivity via a dedicated app.
