Japanese footballers see mixed results in Premier League and La Liga

Japanese footballers are seeing mixed results in European leagues. At Crystal Palace, Daichi Kamada recorded two assists in a 2-3 loss against Ipswich Town. Meanwhile, at Aston Villa, goalkeeper Zion Suzuki has received significant praise from local media for his distribution and shot-stopping, despite his team's 1-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

In La Liga, Takefusa Kubo faced criticism following Real Sociedad's 0-3 loss to Atletico Madrid. After starting on the bench for the second consecutive match, Kubo entered as a substitute in the 72nd minute but failed to make a significant impact. Manager Pellegrino Matarazzo noted that while substitutions are intended to change the game, not all players met the expected performance levels.
