Kawasaki launches 2027 Versys 650 and 2026 Ninja 500 motorcycles

Kawasaki unveiled its 2027 Versys 650 adventure bike, keeping the core 649 cc parallel‑twin engine while adding traction‑control (KTRC), full LED lighting, a 4.3‑inch TFT instrument panel and smartphone connectivity through the Rideology app. The model remains A2‑license compatible and is offered in new colour schemes with a range of factory‑fitted accessories such as side cases, a 47‑litre top case and heated grips.

The company also announced the 2026 Ninja 500 sport bike, priced at R$ 38,290 in Brazil. It features a 451 cc parallel‑twin engine delivering 45 hp, a six‑speed manual gearbox, ABS, an assisted‑slip clutch and a 14‑litre fuel tank. Weighing about 171 kg, the Ninja 500 is positioned as an everyday‑use sport motorcycle with a focus on balanced performance and control.
