Kawasaki launches 2027 Z900 in India

Kawasaki has officially launched the 2027 model year Z900 in India, priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the updated inline-four streetfighter began on October 28, 2026.

The 2027 model features two new dual-tone color schemes: Ebony with Metallic Carbon Gray and Pearl Blizzard White with Plasma Lime Green. The motorcycle retains its 948cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, though some technical specifications vary between reports. One source notes a slight decrease in listed maximum output to 121bhp and a kerb weight of 213kg, while another lists the power at 124 PS.

Key technological updates include an IMU-supported electronics package featuring the Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), a bi-directional quickshifter for clutch-free shifting, and electronic cruise control. The bike also includes riding modes linked to Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) and a 5-inch color TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
