Kawasaki launches 2027 Z900RS with new “Candy Tone Greenish Blue” paint and redesign

Kawasaki announced that the 2027 model of its Z900RS motorcycle will be released on 1 August 2026. The new version receives a comprehensive visual overhaul, highlighted by a fresh “Candy Tone Greenish Blue” paint scheme that replaces the previous blue shade. Bodywork, gauges, handlebars, brakes, clutch lever, rear end, fuel tank, chain and even the cylinder head have been restyled, and the bike is equipped with electronic throttle valve (ETV), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) and cruise control. The Japanese‑market price is set at ¥1,507,000.

In related coverage, Kawasaki also highlighted its classic Z250FT, a 1979‑era 250 cc twin‑cylinder sport bike. The Z250FT features a 55 mm × 52.4 mm short‑stroke engine delivering 27 PS at 10,000 rpm and 2.1 kg·m torque at 8,500 rpm, with a split‑crankshaft bearing design inherited from the original Z1.

Both pieces underscore Kawasaki’s blend of heritage and modern technology in its motorcycle lineup.
