Kawasaki reveals 2027 Ninja H2 with revised engine
Kawasaki has officially revealed the 2027 Ninja H2, a heavily revised supercharged flagship motorcycle. The updated model features a redesigned 998cc inline-four engine with a new impeller, intake system, pistons, cylinder head, crankshaft, and camshafts.
While the peak power has decreased to 209hp with Ram Air from the previous model's 228hp, the new configuration is designed to provide stronger low-to-mid-range torque. The engine now utilizes a single-exit exhaust system, similar to the H2 SX and Z H2, suggesting a move toward production simplification.
Key hardware updates include the introduction of Brembo Hypure four-piston front calipers and an updated instrument cluster with two selectable display layouts that connect to the Kawasaki Rideology app. The motorcycle maintains a kerb weight of 238kg and continues to use a trellis frame for stability.
